The team at Sasserath & Co.<\/a> traded hard numbers for hard hats this week when they volunteered with Habitat for Humanity<\/a> in Riverhead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The crew was joined by the future homeowner, Amanda, who will be moving into the two-bedroom house with her 13-year-old daughter, Aminah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With help from the Habitat team, they worked on tasks from installing laminate flooring, to building an outdoor shed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Construction began on the home in Nov. 2023, and 80 percent of the work is being done by volunteers. The Sasserath team was delighted to be a part of that workforce and to give back to the local community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
