We are seeking a <strong>Summer 2022 Tax Intern <\/strong>for\nour tax and accounting practice at our Ronkonkoma headquarters. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The successful candidate is a rising junior or senior\nworking toward their Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, available to work 20-40\nhours a week from late May through early August.<\/strong> The candidate\nis thoughtful, cares about and takes pride in what they do, and gives their\nbest effort. The candidate will have CPA aspirations and ambitious career\ngoals. They are tech savvy and are always seeking a challenge. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This paid internship is an exceptional opportunity to\ndevelop your skills and make an impact at an established CPA firm. This\nposition has tremendous potential, with the opportunity to grow into a\nfull-time, permanent role for the right candidate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Responsibilities include:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Assist with the preparation of personal, business and trust income tax returns<\/li><li>Assist with the preparation of Financial Statements<\/li><li>Assist with the preparation and review of bookkeeping, sales tax and payroll tax returns<\/li><li>Administrative tasks to assist with tax return preparation<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Rising Junior or senior working toward Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting <\/li><li>Grad students pursuing M.S. or M.B.A. in Accounting also welcome to apply<\/li><li>Aspirations to obtain CPA<\/li><li>Prior accounting internships a plus, but not required<\/li><li>Tech-savvy.
