We are seeking a Director of Finance for a full-time role based in our Ronkonkoma and Smithtown offices. This role is ideal for an experienced, ambitious professional looking to be immersed in a variety of exciting projects involving fund managers and clients who are sophisticated business owners and high-net-worth individuals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Handle significant projects such as financial modeling, projections, cash flow analysis, and valuations for clients of Strata and related entities<\/li><li>Play a key role in all financial aspects of the M&amp;A process, including the valuation, due diligence, and purchase price negotiation phases of a deal<\/li><li>Work closely with accounting teams throughout all phases of the deal process<\/li><li>Work on client project plans for high-net-worth individuals embarking on major projects, such as preparing to sell their businesses, and assist with review of financials<\/li><li>Prepare reports and presentations detailing findings, conclusions, and recommendations for action for clients<\/li><li>Work as a team to solve complex business problems and find opportunities<\/li><li>Explain, review, and validate valuation and risk measures to clients<\/li><li>Conduct extensive research on investment opportunities, alternative investments, and other economic development projects<\/li><li>Analyze revenue and expense reports for various entities<\/li><li>Monitor investment performance once investments are made<\/li><li>Interact and build relationships with fund managers and investors<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Bachelor\u2019s degree required<\/li><li>CPA and\/or MBA with finance concentration\/M.S. in Finance\/Business Analytics degree preferred<\/li><li>Proficient with Excel<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Salary range: $175,000-$200,000<\/em><br><em>Sasserath &amp; Co. is an equal opportunity employer.<\/em><br>Please email resume to&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:careers@sasscpas.com\">careers@sasscpas.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Strata Alliance is a multi-family office with a network of carefully curated service providers, redefining the concept of assisting affluent and sudden wealth families.
