The team at Sasserath & Co. traded hard numbers for hard hats this week when they volunteered with Habitat for Humanity in Riverhead.
The crew was joined by the future homeowner, Amanda, who will be moving into the two-bedroom house with her 13-year-old daughter, Aminah.
With help from the Habitat team, they worked on tasks from installing laminate flooring, to building an outdoor shed.
Construction began on the home in Nov. 2023, and 80 percent of the work is being done by volunteers. The Sasserath team was delighted to be a part of that workforce and to give back to the local community.
