Strata Alliance is a multi-family office with a network of carefully curated service providers, redefining the concept of assisting affluent and sudden wealth families. We are seeking a Director of Finance for a full-time role based in our Ronkonkoma and Smithtown offices. This role is ideal for an experienced, ambitious professional looking to be immersed in a variety of exciting projects involving fund managers and clients who are sophisticated business owners and high-net-worth individuals.
Responsibilities
- Handle significant projects such as financial modeling, projections, cash flow analysis, and valuations for clients of Strata and related entities
- Play a key role in all financial aspects of the M&A process, including the valuation, due diligence, and purchase price negotiation phases of a deal
- Work closely with accounting teams throughout all phases of the deal process
- Work on client project plans for high-net-worth individuals embarking on major projects, such as preparing to sell their businesses, and assist with review of financials
- Prepare reports and presentations detailing findings, conclusions, and recommendations for action for clients
- Work as a team to solve complex business problems and find opportunities
- Explain, review, and validate valuation and risk measures to clients
- Conduct extensive research on investment opportunities, alternative investments, and other economic development projects
- Analyze revenue and expense reports for various entities
- Monitor investment performance once investments are made
- Interact and build relationships with fund managers and investors
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- CPA and/or MBA with finance concentration/M.S. in Finance/Business Analytics degree preferred
- Proficient with Excel
Salary range: $175,000-$200,000
